Nine Haiku

sap moon

underground

a stream

pounding rain

shuts off the lights

coronavirus

rush hour

bursting from the cave

bats

birds flying

the sunset trail

westward ho

doves

non-stop air to ground

warbling

first and last

get only children time

in big families

buck moon

traveling with me

in the car

daybreak

tree leaves dripping

stars

breezy predawn

ebbing chimes

lap the dark

(After: evening breeze/water laps the legs/ of the blue heron ~by Buson)
